About the project

Morris & Young’s site was outdated and not responsive. I rebuilt it in Webflow as a simple one-page landing page that clearly explains who they are, what they do, why clients choose them, their process, network logos, press, and direct links to instrumental and vocal music databases. I also built a small dashboard that converts incoming cue sheets into the standardized format they use for BMI and ASCAP submissions.

Goals

  • Replace a dated, non responsive site with a clean, mobile first page that loads fast
  • Present value, process, clients, and press in a single scroll with clear CTAs
  • Link directly to the instrumental and vocal catalogs
  • Eliminate manual cue sheet reformatting with a repeatable converter
  • Preserve or improve search and analytics

Project execution

What I built

  • One page site in Webflow - concise sections for who, what, why, process, trusted brands, recognition, press, and catalog links
  • Component library - reusable hero, logo grid, process steps, testimonial or press cards, CTA
  • CMS - press and recognition as collections for easy updates
  • Performance and accessibility - optimized images, conservative animations, keyboard checks
  • Analytics - GA4 events on primary CTAs and catalog links
  • Cue sheet converter dashboard - a small web UI that accepts uploads and returns a standardized CSV using a Python script

Migration approach

  • Content audit and rewrite into a single narrative that fits a one-page IA
  • Build in Webflow with a style guide and tokens for color and type
  • Tag Manager and GA4 wired for CTAs and catalog clicks
  • Python CLI wrapped by a simple dashboard to handle uploads and downloads

Project results

Outcomes

  • Modern, mobile first site that communicates value quickly and points directly to catalogs
  • Faster updates in Webflow with no developer handoff for typical edits
  • Cue sheet conversion reduced to a self serve upload and download flow
  • Fewer errors and less back and forth on BMI and ASCAP submissions

What comes next

  • Add a lightweight gallery of selected placements and recent press
  • Optional multi section version for SEO where needed while keeping the one page flow
  • Versioning and templates for the cue converter to handle more source formats

Why this works for Morris & Young

  • One page that does the essentials well, loads fast, and routes users to the catalogs
  • A self serve tool that removes manual spreadsheet work and reduces submission risk
  • Lower ongoing maintenance with Webflow and a simple, testable Python core for conversions
